‎SAND - Music Sequencer

SAND is a grid based sequencer. Create music with your AUv3 plugins and external MIDI devices.
An intuitive yet powerful way to produce music.

GRID SEQUENCER
Arrange your clips on the grid.
Copy, duplicate, merge, combine, move MIDI clips via drag and drop.
Quick tools such as quantize, clip length, legato, transpose are quicky accessible via long press on the clip

TRACKS
Add one instrument and unlimited audio and MIDI effects.
Save and reuse tracks as templates.

CLIP EDITOR
Easy to use notes editor with tools such as quantising, legato, copy and paste.
Edit notes by changing their position, pitch, duration and velocity.
Align notes to the adjustable grid, or move them freely.

PLUGIN HOST
Host your favorite AUv3 plugins (instruments, audio effects and midi processors)
Control their parameters and presets.
Default state for plugins: save the state for a plugin. Every new instance of the plugin will start with that state and parameters. Record MIDI directly from the plugin's UI.

MIDI ROUTING
Use any external MIDI device to record notes.
Send MIDI to your synths.
Route MIDI from a track to another.
Use SAND as a virtual MIDI input and output.

MIDI MAPPING
Connect and map your MIDI surface to completely control the app, mapping is flexible and customisable.
By using buttons mapped as "shift" keys, you can expand the ability for a MIDI device to control the app.

SYNC
Use Ableton Link to sync with other music production apps and DAWs.

ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD
Record notes with the velocity-sensitive on-screen keyboard. Hit the keys at the bottom for more velocity, on the top for less.
Pick a scale and a root note to hide keys that don't belong to the scale.
Customize the number of visible keys.

IMPORT / EXPORT
Import and export MIDI clips via drag and drop
Export whole project as MIDI
Record your performance and export it as audio file, with separate stems.
